Welcome to Olive Branch 23 Studio

  Creating has always been a part of who I am. As a child, I looked forward to summer visits with my dad and stepmom—she was the one who first introduced me to crafting. She taught me everything from throwing clay on a potter’s wheel to sewing, crocheting, and even cooking from family recipe cards to a favorite cookbook. Those early experiences planted a lifelong love for making things by hand.

  In my thirties, I started painting wood signs using stencils. Deep down, I always dreamed of having my own laser machine or scroll saw to cut out wood shapes. One day, my husband spotted a laser machine and said, “Let’s get one!” He had no idea I had always wanted one. That moment changed everything—and Olive Branch 23 Studio began.

  The name is full of meaning. “Olive Branch” comes from the story of the dove returning to Noah’s ark with hope in its beak. “23” is a nod to Psalm 23—my husband’s favorite Bible chapter. Together, it reflects bringing joy and peace through creativity.

  We’re known for our DIY wood kits, laser-cut wood shapes, personal engravings, and custom projects for local businesses and ministries. We love helping crafters, busy moms, and creative minds find time to make something beautiful, whether for fun, décor, or meaningful gifts.

​

  Olive Branch 23 Studio is a family effort. My husband handles the woodshop, making cutting boards and other custom items that can’t be done with a laser. I run the laser machine, manage the website, and take care of social media. Our daughter helps a few days a week with website creative, assembling products and attending local events with me. It’s a small but hardworking team, and everything we do is built with care and intention.

Our dream is to one day open a dedicated studio space—a place where friends and families can gather to create, connect, and unwind. Until then, we’re grateful to serve our community and across the country from our home in Fairfield, Ohio.
